Assam’s Jorhat District has reported as many as Eight Fresh COVOD-19 cases over the Past 24 hours. With this, the COVID-19 caseload of the District rose to 12,353. Although sources said Five of the Eight reported Positive have received First shots of COVID-19 Vaccines, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital Authorities refused to confirm saying that they were not allowed to speak about COVID-19 Patients’ contract history. Jorhat currently has 25 active COVID-19 cases, while 12,187 Patients have been dischargedand Seven migrated. The Number of deaths in the District due to coronavirus disease stands at 69. Currently, there are 269 Active cases of COVID-19 in Assam. With this, the Number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in the State stands at 2,16,036. While 2,14,676 Patients have recovered and over 1,091 have died Till date. Three Patients have migrated. Meanwhile, 23,272 People received COVID-19 vaccine on Monday, bringing the cumulative figure of recipients to 5,68,176.
