Guwahati: In yet another murder case a 60-year-old elderly man was killed at his residence in Guwahati on Sunday.
The deceased identified as Ajit Chetia. Chetia was allegedly shot in the head and thrown into the drawing room by miscreant.
The incident took place at the Hareshwar Basumtari road in Baragaon in the city.
Meanwhile, a preliminary investigation is on and the police suspected it to be a case of robbery.
Moreover, Ajit Setia is said to be an accountant for AMTRON.
It may be mentioned that no family members were present at the residence at the time of the murder.
It needs to be noted that a team of CID and forensic reached the place and investigating the case.
