Guwahati: In a heart rending incident, an 80-year-old man sexually assaulted a minor in the Guwahati city of Assam on Wednesday.
The incident reportedly occurred in Datalpara.
According to reports, the elderly man allegedly raped the 3-year-old girl after luring her on the pretext of offering her chips.
The victim’s father alleged that the accused frequently used to visit their place and is well known to everyone in the family.
Meanwhile, the accused has been arrested after a complaint was registered at Fatasil Ambari Police Station by the family of the victim.
