Guwahati: The city administration of Golaghat, Assam carried out an eviction drive in order to remove illegal encroachment on Friday.
According to reports, the eviction drive took place at Number 2, Kumarpatty in Golaghat district.
The drive resulted in the eviction of up to 12 people who had encroached on government property along the Dhansiri river’s banks in the district.
Police and CRPF officials were present during the eviction drive.
