Guwahati: The committee looking into the major recruitment scam case has sent a notice to ACS Babul Saharia, the former Principal Controller of Examinations (PCE) of the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC).
New information was revealed by the investigation team lead by retired Justice Biplab Kumar Sarma in the APSC test fraud case from CCE 2014.
Saharia, who was the PCE from 2016 to 2018, has been told she has 15 days to appear before the panel.
In 2014, he had been in charge of both the results announcement and the primary tests.
The former PCE was also in charge of the strong room. Saharia is believed to have remained silent despite being fully aware of the scheme.
