Ex Congress MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi Joins BJP
Guwahati: A day after resigning from the Haryana Assembly, former Congress MLA Kuldeep Bishnoi joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Delhi on Thursday. In the CM ML Khattar’s presence, he joined the party.
“He was an MLA for four terms. He joined us after leaving the Congress as an MLA. The BJP has also welcomed Renuka Bishnoi. Kuldeep Bishnoi will help the BJP win in Rajasthan and Haryana. He is a member of the Bishnoi community, which CM Khattar described as the community’s environmental and social defenders.
Kuldeep Bishnoi remarked during his speech: “All the leaders on the dias today, please accept my gratitude. I have been welcomed into the party along with my wife Renuka, a regular karyakarta. Previously, we had “choli daaman ka sath” when we were allies. Although we had some disagreements, it never damaged our relationship “.
Earlier, BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla tweeted, “An eminent personality will join BJP today at 6DDU marg , New Delhi at 12:30pm”.
Kuldeep Bishnoi announced his resignation by saying, “I have made the decision to join the BJP in light of the opinions of my employees in Punjab and Haryana. The Congress of Indira and Rajiv Gandhi is not the Congress of today. It has veered off its ideological course. Due to bad choices made by Congress across the nation, it is moving closer to being eliminated.”
Meanwhile, Bishnoi’s supporters gathered in front of the BJP headquarters on Thursday morning in Delhi.
Kuldeep Bishnoi challenged Bhupinder Singh Hooda to run for and win the vacant seat after resigning as the representative for the Haryana district of Adampur.
