Ex Indian Captain Kohli Seen Grimacing In Pain After Being Hit During Practice
Guwahati: Former team India captain Virat Kohli suffered an injury on Wednesday during a training session prior to the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup semifinal match against England.
According to reports, Harshal Patel’s ball struck Kohli in the area of his groyne. He was seen falling to the ground and then rising.
Kohli’s participation in the eagerly awaited match, scheduled for Thursday, is now in doubt following rumours of his ailment.
This follows the Tuesday workout injury to captain Rohit Sharma. He was seen fleeing the nets after taking a blow to the forearm.
However, he did come back later and bat again and he was also quite good.
Fans that are rooting for an India against Pakistan final event are alarmed by repeated injuries to the team’s key batters. However, both sides will need to overcome their upcoming challenges in England and New Zealand, respectively.
