Ex-Servicemen Rally in Dibrugarh Addresses Pension and Benefits Concerns
Guwahati, 29th October: The General Officer Commanding-in-Chief (GOC-in-C) of Eastern Command, Lieutenant General Rana Pratap Kalita, attended an Ex-Servicemen Rally organized by the DAO Division of the Indian Army at Dibrugarh University ground on October 29.
Addressing the dignitaries and ex-servicemen gathered at the rally, Lt. Gen. Rana Pratap Kalita encouraged ex-servicemen to discuss their concerns and problems with senior officials. He emphasized the importance of addressing pension-related issues and urged ex-servicemen to clear any doubts or concerns they may have regarding the pension and benefits they should receive.
The rally, part of the Indian Army’s commitment to honor the Veer Naris (widows of ex-servicemen) and the entire ex-servicemen fraternity for their contributions to the nation, aims to resolve grievances and pension anomalies for ex-servicemen. Lt. General Rana Pratap Kalita assured ex-servicemen that the rally was not the end of their services and mentioned the establishment of seva kendras to cater to their needs and concerns.
