Ex UP CM Mulayam Singh Yadav Critically ill
Guwahati: Former chief minister of Uttar Pradesh and leader of the Samajwadi Party (SP) Mulayam Singh Yadav was admitted to the hospital on Sunday and is currently receiving life-saving medication, informed Gurugram hospital on Sunday.
According to Dr. Sanjeev Gupta, medical director at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram the founder of the Samajwadi Party is receiving treatment in the hospital’s intensive care unit (ICU) .”Mulayam Singh Yadav is quite critical today and is on life-saving drugs. He is being treated in the ICU of the hospital by a comprehensive team of specialists,” said Dr Gupta.
Yadav has been receiving treatment in preparation for his routine medical exams and inspections since August 22.
He was transferred to the ICU at Medanta Hospital last week after his health suddenly began to deteriorate.
The former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister is 82 years old.
The sick former CM of Uttar Pradesh was met by Union Defense Minister Rajnath Singh earlier on Friday at Gurugram’s Medanta hospital.
The chief minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar and Lalu Prasad Yadav, the leader of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD), went to the Medanta hospital in Gurugram on Wednesday to see the condition of Mulayam Singh Yadav.
The chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao also inquired about Mulayam Singh Yadav’s health.
