Kohitoor Mango: This mango grown is in Murshidabad of  West Bengal is one of the most expensive mangoes. A piece of kohitur sells for Rs 1500. This prized variety was grown only for the royal family during the reign of Nawab Sirajuddaula in the late 18th century. The supply of this variety is very limited. Therefore, it is also expensive.

Mulberry: It is a juicy and delicious fruit of red, black and white color. In many places, it is only available in villages but if you want to buy it you won’t easily get it. It is available on some online websites but its price is up to Rs 800 per kg. This fruit is a storehouse of essential nutrients like vitamin C, K, iron, calcium and potassium.

Cranberry: This small, hard, round, red-colored fruit is also known as Karonda in India. Cranberry is not native to India so it’s highly expensive while available in the mrket. The taste is both bitter and sour. According to a research, a chemical called phenol is found in it, which is a high level of antioxidant. It is believed that eating one cranberry provides antioxidants equivalent to 20 mangoes.

Mangosteen: Found in many states of the country, the taste of this fruit is sweet and sour. In this, you will feel a mixture of litchi, peach, strawberry and pineapple flavor. It is known as Kattampi in Malayalam, Kokam in Marathi, Hannu in Kannada and Kao in Bengali. Its availability in the market is negligible. But if you go to buy then you will have to spend a lot of money.

Avocado: It is one of the most expensive fruits in India. If you want to order online sitting at home, then the price of one kg is up to Rs 1600. The color of this fruit looks like dark green or dark purple. It boosts energy, controls blood pressure, protects against cancer cells and is helpful in weight loss.

Blueberry: This blue colored fruit is also known as ‘Neelbadri’ in many places. Its taste is sour-sweet. It contains a sufficient amount of fiber, which prevents constipation. The vitamins, sodium, copper, fructose and acids present in it help in improving digestion. In India, it was brought from North America. Due to very low availability, its price is quite high.
