Guwahati: Due to the extreme cold on Thursday morning, at least two people including a woman were found dead at Lumding Railway Junction in Hojai, Assam.
According to reports, due to lack of blanket in this extreme cold last night.
Reportedly, the bodies of the deceased were found at platform number 1 .
The dead had been living at the junction as a beggar for a number of days. Since the state is experiencing a decline in temperature, the beggars were unable to tolerate the extreme cold and died due to it.
