Guwahati: Assam Police has arrested a fake police official on charges of not only forging identity but also duping people in the name of police.
The accused has been as Pinku Das, a resident of Kaboru in Golaghat district.
According to reports, Pinku has been nabbed on Monday from a Scorpio in Bokakhat town of Golaghat district in Assam.
According to the reports, an investigation revealed that he is involved in importing cattle heads illegally. Other than that, many cases were also registered against him.
It may be mentioned that Police officials also recovered five mobile phones, knives and other weapons.
