Family Feud Turns Violent in Cachar, Assam
Guwahati, 9th August: A family dispute took a grim turn in the Barkhala area of Assam’s Cachar district, resulting in a shocking firing incident. The altercation between two family members escalated to the point where one individual opened fire at the other.
As a consequence of the incident, one person sustained severe injuries and was immediately rushed to the Barkhala Primary Health Centre in critical condition. The local police were alerted and swiftly reached the scene. The police managed to capture the suspect.
Upon investigation, it was revealed that the accused had used a handmade gun during the incident. This development came to light after the accused’s confession.
