Guwahati: Two letters were sent by an unknown sender to the family of late actor and BJP politician Sonali Phogat.
Phogat’s brother-in-law Aman Poonia is quoted as saying that both of the letters should be looked at because they contain crucial information about her homicide case.
The first letter received a month ago stated that a deal of Rs. 10 crores was made in the murder case and the second letter which was received some days later mentioned names of political leaders.
Poonia notified the public that Sonali’s brother Rukesh was running for office in Adampur.
He said, “Sonali’s sister Rukesh will run for office from Adampur. The Aam Aadmi Party and we are not affiliated. Bhartiya Janata Party is already a part of us. We’ll consult with everyone before making a decision.”
Earlier, BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi was charged with the murder of Sonali Phogat by Rukesh.
This revelation was made by Rinku at Sarv Khap Mahapanchayat following which Bishnoi was asked to explain his stand regarding the allegations made against him before Mahapanchayat.
