Farmer Killed for Calling Neighbour’s Dog a ‘Dog’ In Tamil Nadu

Guwahati: In a horrific incident, a farmer was killed for calling his slain for calling his neighbor’s dog a “dog” during a fight in Tamil Nadu.

According to reports, the incident occurred in Thadicombu town in the Dindigul district.

The accused have been identified as Rayappan who was involved in a dispute over his neighbor’s pets.

Rayappan repeatedly complained to his neighbours, Daniel and Vincent who were also his cousins about their dogs’ violent behaviour toward bystanders.

However, the fight escalated when the deceased refused to call the dogs by their names and instead said that the dogs should be kept on leash.

When Rayappan attempted to beat the dogs with a stick, the dog owners became upset and attacked him.  After the incident, Rayappan fell unconscious and died.

The Thadikombu Police have filed a FIR and sent out a watch notice for the suspects.
