Guwahati, 4th March: In a shocking incident that occurred on the outskirts of Guwahati city on Sunday, where a father was fatally attacked by his own son.
The incident took place in Chapaidang, under the jurisdiction of the Panikhaiti police station.
The victim, identified as Daya Bhatta, succumbed to injuries inflicted by his son, Prantus Das.
The altercation reportedly began after Daya Bhatta consumed excessive alcohol on Sunday night, during which he allegedly assaulted both his wife and son.
In response to the incident, police swiftly arrived at the scene and apprehended the accused, Prantus Das. The authorities are conducting further investigations into the matter.
