Guwahati: The medical superintendent of Owaisi Hospital in Hyderabad has committed suicide at his residence on February 28.

As per reports, Dr Khan’s son is married to Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi’s daughter.
According to Joel Davis, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone), “Dr. Khan appears to have taken the extreme step for familial reasons at this point in time.”
Joel Davis, Deputy Commissioner of Police (West Zone), notified the media that the doctor looked to have shot himself using a legal firearm. Yet it’s still unclear if he used a weapon of his own or not.
According to a senior official, the doctor is thought to have killed himself between the hours of 6 and 11 in the morning while his wife was busy with home chores. The police were notified of the event at 1:30 pm. Even though his son and watchman were inside the house, no one heard gunfire, the officer informed the press on February 27.
“The first-floor room was locked from the inside and all the windows were closed. Prima facie, it appears that family reasons drove Khan to take the extreme step,” he said.
