Guwahati: In a terrible incident, a father killed his son in Tinsukia district of Assam. The incident came to light on Monday.
According to reports, after committing the sin the father surrendered before the police and confessed to the crime after which the incident came to light.
The horrific incident took place in the Puwali Pather village in Hahkhati in the Tinsukia district of Assam.
As per reports, the deceased have been identified as Ananta Arandharai.
According to officials, the father admitted about killing his son. The father described the incident and stated that Ananta was a habitual drinker who was drunk on the day of the incident.
Under the influence of alcohol the victim punched his father, harassed and used foul languages toward him. All of this incensed the father, who then hit his kid.
However, the father soon realized that the son had been killed as a result. So far, it is unclear what was the murder weapon used by the father.
The father surrendered at the Tinsukia Dhola Police Station, stricken with guilt over killing his own son.
Additionally, the father’s name has not yet been released by the police.
