Fees of Candidates Not Qualifying to be Returned Back: Assam Direct Recruitment Exam
Guwahati: The Direct Recruitment Exam for Grades III and IV did not result in a candidate’s qualification, hence the Assam Government has decided to refund their examination expenses.
This was announced by state Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma who was attending Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio address ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at Azara of Guwahati.
Additionally, CM Sarma stated that if at all feasible, the exam results will be released within a month.
The chief minister remarked, speaking to the media, “The tests are being administered peacefully throughout the state’s exam centres. No reports of exam-related misbehaviour have been made.”
“We’ll make an effort to announce the results within a month. Candidates who do not pass the tests will receive a refund for their money. After the results are announced, the costs will be refunded to their bank accounts, Sarma added.
He said, “Only those candidates who pass the exam will have their fees retained.”
On Sunday, 1903 centres in 25 districts throughout the state will host the Grade-III State Level Recruitment Commission’s written exams.
The Assam Police has put in place strong security measures throughout the areas where the exams are taking place.
