Guwahati: In a rare break-out, a female prisoner allegedly escaped from the clutches of Dispur police on Friday.
The woman has been identified as Makon Kakati.
According to reports, Kakati able to escape from detention when she was escorted to a hospital for a medical examination.
Kakati was detained in the city’s Six Mile area on suspicion of battery.
