FIFA World Cup 2022 In Qatar To Be Streamed On JioCinema

Guwahati: The FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022TM will be live-streamed on JioCinema, according to an announcement from Viacom18 Sports, India’s newest and most prestigious sports network. From November 20 until December 18, all viewers can watch the international marquee competition for free on JioCinema. Sports18 – 1SD & HD will be included in the TV broadcast schedule.

All telecom service consumers will soon be able to download the JioCinema app, which will provide them access to Viacom18 Sports’ library of live and recorded programming, including the quadrennial showpiece, across devices, including iOS and Android.

Smartphones and linked TVs are now India’s preferred methods of content viewing thanks to a multifold growth in data use. A first for the FIFA World CupTM presentation in India, Viacom18 Sports’ 64-match showcase will feature live streaming in 4K and various language feeds, including English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Bengali on JioCinema without any additional subscription fees.

The majority of the FIFA World CupTM 2022 matches will be broadcast in prime time in India (18:30, 20:30, 21:30 IST). Important matchups like France vs. Denmark, England vs. Iran, Portugal vs. Ghana, Brazil vs. Switzerland, and Croatia vs. Belgium will all be played during group stage primetime matches.

In addition to the live coverage, Viacom18 Sports’ tournament presentation offers exciting non-live programming. The network will create digital-only programming centred on World Cup heroes who have written their names in the annals of history, moments that became cherished memories, and celebrations of the most ardent sports fans and their World Cup tales. A lineup of well-known international football experts, hosts, and tournament icons will be featured in the network’s live broadcast and will be revealed later.
