FIR against actress, Kangana Ranaut

Guwahati: An FIR has been filed against Kangana Ranaut, the Bollywood actress, for her outlandish remarks.

Preethi Menon, the national executive chairman of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), has filed a case with the Mumbai police requesting a FIR against the actress in response to her remark.

She made a seditious comment at a conclave this time, claiming that India gained “true independence” in 2014. She was presumably referring to the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) election victory in 2014.

According to Ranaut, the Congress is a continuation of British tyranny, and India gained true independence in 2014. In 1947, India received “bheek” (alms).

It may be mentioned that earlier Twitter banned Kangana’s for spewing right-wing commentary on the platform.
