Guwahati: A major fire broke out at an oil facility in the Duliajan area of Dibrugarh district of Assam on Saturday.
The incident took place at UPS in Oil India Limited’s Balijan area.
The fire broke out in an oil storage pond attached to the Oil UPS and later spread to the wider area.
Two fire brigades arrived at the scene and put out the fire after an hour of nonstop work.
Meanwhile, the cause of the fire’s destruction is yet to be ascertained.
