Fire in Mumbai’s Kandivali West Claims Two Lives, Injures Three
National Desk, 23rd October: A major fire broke out in Kandivali West, Mumbai, claiming the lives of two individuals and leaving three others with burn injuries. The incident occurred at the Pavan Dham Veena Santur Building in Mahaveer Nagar around 12:30 pm.
The fire swiftly spread to the upper floors of the building, trapping several people inside. Firefighting personnel were quickly dispatched to the scene to launch rescue operations, and the injured were promptly transported to a nearby hospital.
At least eight firefighters were involved in bringing the fire under control. The police have initiated an investigation into the incident. Further details regarding the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage are expected to emerge as the investigation progresses.
