First Ever Guitar Festival Underway in Nagaland
Guwahati: The First Nagaland Guitar Festival will kick off from Friday at “Just a Venue” Mokokchung. The festival includes a guitar workshop and interactive session with a renowned guitarist, live-lit collectives, and solo performers.
The programs will be celebrated with strict COVID guidelines. The festival will start on Friday morning.
The event will also feature product demonstrations by top music stores and manufacturers exhibiting and showcasing their products. There will also be a counter for selling, buy and exchanging guitar-related products.
The festival is organized by Mokokchung Events Management (MEM) in collaboration with Task Force for Music and Arts (TaFMA) and supported by Naga Musicians Collective (NMC).
The festival will also host a musical extravaganza where renowned Arenlong, the guitar whiz who won the international-level solo guitar contest organized by renowned United Kingdom (UK) guitarist Jack Gardiner and also the ‘StrandbergIndia Guitar Contest’ in 2020, among other accolades.
As per reports, the organizers will focus on audio and video production in order to target marketing.
The organizer further stated that if the rain continues, the venue for the festival might be changed and entry to the event will be free.
