Gangtok: A serious road accident on the Gangtok highway left five passengers injured after a collision between a Sikkim Milk Union truck and an Eco Van near Ranipool, below the Mayfair area.
According to police reports, the truck was en route to Siliguri while the Eco Van was heading towards Gangtok when the crash occurred.
The impact left five passengers from the Eco Van, along with the truck driver, injured.
One of the victims is reported to be in critical condition. Emergency responders quickly transported all injured individuals to Manipal Hospital for urgent medical attention.
