Flying Squads seize Rs 29,26,000 in raids conducted in Kamrup Metro

The flying squads formed by the Kamrup (Metro) District Administration to execute the model code of conduct (MCC) of the ensuing Assam Elections 2021, have seized a Total amount of Rs 29,26,000 so far during search operations conducted in different Locations of the City.

According to a statement issued by the District Administration, on March 4 the flying squads seized Rs 1,70,000 and Rs 82,000 during Two separate search operations conducted in Athgaon and Khanapara Areas respectively. On March 6, Rs 3,03,000 and Rs 4,00,000 had been seized from Fancy Bazar Area and Near the premises of the Reserve Bank of India respectively.

During a search operation on March 7, a flying squad team seized Rs 2,70,000 at Koinadhara Traffic point. Similarly, on March 8, a flying squad team seized Rs 7,25,000 on Jail Road in Fancy Bazar Area. On March 10, flying squads during Two separate search operations seized Rs 76,000 and Rs 7,00,000 on Kedar Road in Machkhowa Area. On the same day, Rs 2,00,000 had been seized Near the Jorabat Police Outpost.
