FM Sitharaman: Budget 2023 Focussed On 7 Priorities
Guwahati: Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman listed seven budget priorities during her speech to the House on Wednesday.
These seven priorities are: financial sector, unleashing potential, green growth, reaching the last mile, inclusive development, and infra and investment.
Some of the significant announcements made today were the creation of an agriculture accelerator fund to support the nation’s agribusiness entrepreneurs and an increase in the government’s goal for farm loans to Rs 20 lakh crore.
The PM Vishwa Karma Kaushal Samman, a package of aid for traditional artists and craftspeople, was also announced by the FM. The government promised to increase the product’s quality, scope, and scale, integrating these entrepreneurs with the MSME value chain in the process.
