Former Maharashtra CM Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar passes away

The former Chief Minister of Maharashtra Shivajirao Patil Nilangekar have passed away in Pune on Wednesday after a brief illness, Family sources said. He died at a Pune Hospital at the Age of 89, according to sources, Nilangekar had recently tested Coronavirus Positive but recovered and was discharged after testing negative.

Shivajirao Nilangekar Patil was a leader of Indian National Congress party and a former chief minister of Maharashtra. He was chief minister of Maharsahtra from June 1985 to March 1986 but had to resign when his daughter’s marks in the MD exams were found to have been fudged.
