Northeast Desk, 13th October: Former chairman of Tipra Motha, Pradyot Kishore Manikya Debbarma, extended financial assistance and provided football and soccer shoes to Baslang Jamatia, a young footballer whose impressive free kick during a football tournament gained widespread attention on the internet.
Pradyot, who had shared the video of Baslang’s free kick, had previously assured that he would visit the young talent. He fulfilled that promise by visiting Killa, where Baslang resides, and meeting with his family.
Pradyot, who is a football enthusiast himself, mentioned that he came to motivate Baslang and brought football equipment, boots, and provided some financial aid. He emphasized the importance of supporting talented individuals, irrespective of political affiliations, and encouraged community involvement in helping people.
