Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt Passes Away at 36

International Desk, 25th August: Chief Content Officer Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque made a sorrowful post on social media informing followers that former WWE champion Bray Wyatt, the actual name of Bray Wyatt was Windham Rotunda, sadly passed away at the age of 36. Wyatt had been absent from WWE TV since February, allegedly due to a serious illness, and it was expected that he would return to the ring at some point.

Rotunda joined WWE’s developmental talent in 2009, progressing to the main roster in 2010 as ‘Husky Harris’ within the stable ‘The Nexus’. However, his career truly soared in 2014 with the formation of ‘The Wyatt Family’, featuring Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Under the moniker ‘Bray Wyatt’, he developed a complex character, introducing the dark alter-ego ‘The Fiend’. This transformative journey led him to a one-time WWE championship and memorable WrestleMania matches against the likes of Randy Orton, John Cena, and The Undertaker.

Rotunda’s reign as ‘The Fiend’ also included two Universal title wins. He was released from WWE in 2021. His untimely demise is a loss to the wrestling community, and his contributions will be remembered.
