Guwahati, 10th November: Four Assam Police personnel sustained severe injuries in a road accident at Lanka in Hojai district on November 10.
The incident involved a collision between a Bolero car, with registration number AS 01FL-1875, and a massive truck bearing registration number AS 02DC-3217 in Lanka’s Pipulpukhuri area.
The Bolero car was en route from Diphu to Guwahati when the accident occurred.
The injured police personnel, identified as Biswajit Hazarika, Robin Singh Jahari, Pradip Pal, and Biren Saikia, have been immediately rushed to the Lanka Priary Health Care facility for treatment.
Among the injured, Pradip Pal is reported to have sustained critical injuries, leading to his transfer to Nagaon for further medical attention.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are under investigation, and the injured personnel are receiving necessary medical care.
