Four Bangladeshi Nationals Detained with Fake Aadhaar Cards in Tripura

Udaipur, Tripura: The Government Railway Police (GRP) have detained four Bangladeshi nationals and seized counterfeit Aadhaar cards from them while they were en route to Bangalore from Udaipur Railway Station in Gomati District.

According to a Tripura Police official, the individuals, including three women and one male, were detained based on a tip-off as they were traveling from Udaipur Railway Station to Bangalore. “We have detained four Bangladeshi nationals, including one male and three females. We have seized Aadhaar cards and a mobile phone from them. We suspect the Aadhaar cards are fake, and an investigation is ongoing. They entered India illegally and were traveling to Bangalore via Sealdah in West Bengal, with the help of a tout from Belonia under the South District,” said the police officer.

The females were identified as Mitu Biswas, Rafiza Aktar, and Narsima Aktar, according to the fake Aadhaar cards. The GRP has handed over the detained individuals to the local police, who will seek police remand for further interrogation.
