Four Tripura Congress leaders expelled

Guwahati: Four senior leaders from Tripura Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) were expelled for alleged anti-party activities on Wednesday.

According to reports, the TPCC initiated disciplinary action against the leaders and expelled them for at least six years with immediate effect.

The news was shared by the Partha Pratim Sarkar in notification with the direction of newly elected PCC president and former MLA Birajit Sinha

It may be mentioned that the names of the expelled leaders are Pijush Kanti Biswas who was the former PCC president, former vice-president Tapas Dey, and senior leaders Tejan Das and Purnita Chakma.
