Guwahati: The police have arrested a fraudster from from Darrang district of Assam for allegedly duping candidates in the pretext of providing them jobs.
The arrested fraud has been identified as Bilal Hussain, hailing from Siyalmari in Dalgaon.
According to reports, Hussain was arrested from Kharupetia on Wednesday when he had come to take money from a woman in return of giving her a job.
He had offered the woman a job in the army in exchange for money.
Meanwhile, the police investigation into the case is currently underway.
