Guwahati: The “Seuj Sangha” organisation of Ambikagiri Nagar in Guwahati of Assam, organised a bicycle ride with the theme “freedom rally” on Monday in honour of the nation’s 76th Independence Day celebrations.
The rally was flagged off at 5:45 am by national Taekwondo player Hritika Almyan. The rally had more than 50 bikers of all ages.
The rally which had its beginning in Ambikagiri Nagar, culminated there after travelling through Noonmati and Chandmari and Zoo Road.
A very beautiful sight could be seen on the streets of Guwahati following the start of the cycling rally.
The organization’s officials also raised the national flag on the grounds of “Seuj Sangha” after the cycling rally came to a close. Eminent poet and the organization’s president Rajendra Nath Bordoloi raised the flag.
