Guwahati: Guwahati police apprehended a group of thieves in Kahilipara’s Bhagaduttapur area on Friday night.
According to reports, four men and one woman were detained in connection to it. All of them are residents from the Goalpara district’s Lakhipur.
However, their identities are yet to be ascertained.
Reportedly, the group had been carrying out different criminal activities from a long time in Hatigaon area of Guwahati.
As per reports, the police recovered many items from them such as gold necklaces, laptops, mobile, music system.
Meantime, a case has been registered against the accused under relevant sections.
