Gaurav Gogoi to Hold Key Meeting with Newly Appointed APCC Observers Today

Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Gaurav Gogoi is set to hold a crucial meeting with newly appointed party observers today. The meeting, scheduled to begin at 10:30 AM at the Rajiv Bhawan in Guwahati, aims to assess the organisational strength of the Congress across various districts in Assam.

Each observer will present a detailed report on the ground-level organisational status of the Congress in their assigned districts. The reports will provide insights into the current structure, strengths, and challenges faced by party units at the district level. This exercise is part of an ongoing effort to evaluate and strengthen the party’s organisational framework.

The findings and reports compiled by the observers will serve as the basis for a possible overhaul of leadership roles across various levels, including district, block, and mandal presidents. This move is expected to bring about necessary changes and improvements in the party’s organisational structure.

Gaurav Gogoi is expected to chair three separate district-wise meetings today as part of this organisational review exercise. This initiative demonstrates the party’s commitment to strengthening its grassroots presence and improving its organisational effectiveness in Assam. The meeting on June 11, which deployed 88 observers to different districts, laid the groundwork for this comprehensive review.
