The launch event, held at the NEDFi Convention Centre, witnessed the presence of esteemed guests including GNRC Founder Dr. Nomal Chandra Borah, renowned Assamese singer Namita Bhattarcharyya, and Asomiya Pratidin Executive Editor Dhaijya Hazarika.
Priced at Rs 1500 per year, the “GNRC স্পর্শ (Sparsha)” Membership offers a comprehensive range of benefits, including regular home visits by a dedicated medical team, free consultations with specialists, access to essential diagnostic tests, and emergency ambulance services within Guwahati city.
Dr. Borah emphasized the pivotal role of preventive healthcare in societal progress, stating, “Socioeconomic development hinges on the health of the community. GNRC remains steadfast in its commitment to preventive healthcare through its Affordable Health Mission.”
Key features of the membership program include no age restrictions, quarterly home visits by doctors, nurses, and community relationship managers, free blood sugar, blood pressure, and weight check-ups every four months, free ECG at home annually, free OPD consultations twice a year with specialists, and free emergency ambulance service within Guwahati city to GNRC Hospital, Sixmile.
