Governor Outlines Key Priorities for Mizoram’s Development in Inaugural Assembly Session
Northeast Desk, 13th December: Governor Hari Babu Kambhampati addressed the inaugural session of the Ninth Mizoram Legislative Assembly, emphasizing the state’s commitment to change, growth, and development.
Congratulating the active participation in the recent general election, the governor highlighted the historic election of three women MLAs and a record voter turnout of 80.43%.
Acknowledging the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders, including the bureaucracy, law enforcement, civil society, NGOs, and churches, the governor outlined seven key areas of focus for his administration.
These priorities include responsible administration, industry support, social security, youth welfare, environmental protection, and transformative long-term projects.
The governor’s vision aims to foster sustainable development and address the evolving needs of Mizoram over the next five years.
