Governor Unveils New Logo for Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission

Arunachal Pradesh: On October 10, 2024, the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, Lt. General KT Parnaik (Retd.), unveiled the new logo of the Arunachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) at Raj Bhavan, Itanagar. The event was attended by APPSC Chairman Prof. (Dr.) Pradip Lingfa, members Col Koj Tari (Retd) and Shri Jalash Pertin (APCS Retd), along with Secretary Smti Parul Gaur Mittal, IRS.

During the unveiling, the Governor emphasized the vital role of the State Public Service Commission in shaping the destiny of Arunachal Pradesh. He highlighted the importance of fairness, transparency, and sustainability in the Commission’s operations to ensure positive outcomes for essential services, particularly in administration.

The Governor urged APPSC members to maintain a positive mindset, uphold high ethical standards, avoid conflicts of interest, and ensure transparency in all decision-making processes. He stressed that merit should be the foundation of every action taken by the Commission.

Expressing his appreciation for the thoughtfully designed logo, the Governor hoped it would inspire a new vision and zeal among the Commission’s members and officials, enabling them to meet the expectations of the youth in Arunachal Pradesh.

The new logo embodies the principles of ‘Satyamev Jayate’ and serves as a ‘Beacon of Trust’ for the State and its people. It also reflects the Commission’s motto, ‘Karmnishtha Yogyata Nishpaksha’ (Conscientiousness, Merit, and Fairness). The Chairman and members of the APPSC briefed the Governor on the Commission’s objectives and assured him of their commitment to uphold its sanctity.
