Govt calls for all-party meeting on July 19

National desk, 6 July: Ahead of the start of Parliament’s monsoon session on July 20, the central government has scheduled an all-party meeting for July 19.

Parliament’s monsoon session is scheduled to last until August 11.

Earlier, Pralhad Joshi tweeted “Monsoon Session, 2023 of Parliament will commence from 20th July and continue till 11th August. Urge all parties to contribute towards productive discussions on Legislative Business and other items during the Monsoon Session.”

He stated that the 23-day session will consist of a total of 17 sittings.

“I appeal to all parties to contribute constructively to the legislative and other business of Parliament during the session,” Minister added.

Meenakshi Lekhi, an assistant secretary in the Union Ministry of State announced on Monday that the Parliament’s monsoon session will begin in the old building.

Additionally, opposition parties are preparing to challenge the government on a number of fronts.
