Grade 3 Employee Suspended for Misconduct in Assam’s Nalbari

Guwahati: A third-grade worker at the Nalbari Deputy Commissioner’s office Masiuz Zaman was suspended on Sunday due to misbehavior. This is in response to a complaint made by a Deputy Registrar of Tihu who claimed that Zaman had acted improperly around him.

According to the Deputy Registrar’s allegation, the Commissioner of Nalbari has ordered Zaman’s suspension. The episode has generated a lot of discussion in the district’s administrative circles with many people expressing outrage at the accused employee’s actions.

The incident reportedly occurred when the Deputy Registrar went to the Nalbari DC’s office. The visitor and Zaman who was on duty that day allegedly got into a heated disagreement over Zaman’s alleged misbehavior.

Later, the Deputy Registrar complained to the Commissioner’s office about the incident and urged that the implicated employee should be suspended.

The Commissioner’s office launched an internal investigation in response to the accusation and it concluded that Zaman had engaged in misconduct. The Commissioner promptly issued an order suspending him pending more investigation. Several people have applauded the decision because they believe that such conduct has no place in a public office.

The Deputy Registrar expressed his pleasure with the authorities’ response to the situation in his remarks. At the workplace, he asked everyone to act with dignity and professionally, stressing that such acts should not be accepted.

Meanwhile, e accused employee has been urged to assist the police and offer a convincing justification for his actions. The Commissioner has issued a warning that severe punishment will be meted out if any proof of his misbehavior is found.
