Guwahati: The results of the examinations held to fill Grade-III positions in the state government departments will be announced in November, according to a statement made on Tuesday by Assam Chief Minister of Assam Himanta Biswa Sarma .
The Assam CM told media at Assam House in Delhi that Grade-III results would be released next month after the announcement of Grade-IV exam results earlier today.
Additionally, CM Sarma stated that the Grade IV oral examination will carry five marks.
He added that only one applicant will be hired for a position out of two who receive the same score.
According to the Assam CM, aspirants for Grade-III positions must show up for a skill test during both rounds.
CM Sarma added that the skill test for Grade-III positions would also be held in December along with the oral examination for Grade-IV positions.
Written tests for grade-IV positions were held in August 2022 and more than 4,43,655 candidates appeared for the exams from the 25 districts of the state.
A total of 26,442 positions were available under Assam Direct Recruitment, of which 13,300 were for Grade-III positions and 13,341 were for Grade-IV positions.
