Guwahati: In a shocking incident, a 5 month old baby was physically abused by his father breaking many bones on his fragile body.
The incident was reported from Kahilipara area of Guwahati city.
According to reports, the baby was allegedly physically abused by the accused father who is identified as Anikesh Goswami.
Reportedly, the reason behind the incident is currently not known.
The baby is currently being treated at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital (GMCH).
Doctors claim that the infant’s arms and legs were fractured as a result of the accused father’s alleged physical assault.
“The baby is now conscious, crying normally, and is being breastfed by the mother,” doctors said.
Meanwhile, the accused father have been arrested by Guwahati police and a case was filed against him in accordance with the relevant sections.
It has been discovered that the accused, his wife and the child have been residing in a rented apartment in Kahilipara for the past five months.
The cause behind such inhumane act is still not known.
