Guwahati, 20th September: An incident of broad daylight robbery unfolded in front of Vishwaratna Hotel on AT Road in the Paltan Bazar area, where armed robbers opened fire while looting cash from a victim.
Reports indicate that the robbers snatched money and a mobile phone from Iayaz Ali, the victim, and attempted to steal his e-rickshaw. When they were unsuccessful, they fired shots to intimidate him.
A formal complaint has been filed at the Panbazar police station, and authorities are currently investigating the incident. This is a developing story.
