Guwahati, 27th September: In a troubling turn of events, a college student, who had gone missing recently, was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances within his rented house in Guwahati’s Bamunimaidan area.
The deceased has been identified as Raja Narzary, a student in his fifth semester at Gossaigaon College. Sources reveal that Raja hailed from Saraibil in Gossaigaon, Kokrajhar district, and had been employed at a gutkha company situated in Bamunimaidan, Guwahati, for the past two months.
On Tuesday morning, Raja, who had been missing since September 23, was found lifeless, hanging inside the bathroom of his rented residence. The presence of multiple injury marks on his body has raised suspicions of foul play, with his family alleging that this was a premeditated murder.
