Guwahati Cybercrime Case: Accused Individuals Appear in Court
Guwahati, 21st September: In the ongoing cybercrime case in Guwahati, where 52 individuals from various call centers were arrested for alleged fraud, significant developments have taken place. On Wednesday, several of the accused were presented before the court.
Out of the 26 individuals who had been placed in police custody for interrogation, 16 remained under the custody of the Guwahati Police’s crime branch, while the remaining 10 were sent to judicial custody.
This case involves a large-scale fraud operation, and investigations are ongoing to uncover the extent of the alleged fraud and the involvement of the accused individuals. The court proceedings continue to shed light on this cybercrime case.
The operation resulted in the arrest of three masterminds: Divyam Arora (31) from Delhi, Debajyoti Dey alias David (31) from Karimganj, and Rajan Sidana (39) from Ludhiana.
