Guwahati: A dead body of a man was recovered in Ganeshguri of Guwahati late on Tuesday night.
The body was found lying on the street side in the Hengrabari area.
The deceased has been identified as Dipankar Bora who is a resident of Maniknagar locality in the Dispur area of Guwahati.
According to reports, onlookers discovered the man sitting motionless on the side of the road and brought him to the hospital.
People in the area organised for a rickshaw driver to transport him to the hospital, where physicians confirmed him dead upon arrival.
The dead was discovered wearing a Swiggy uniform, implying that he worked as a food delivery agent for the company.
Meanwhile, the cause of death is unknown and will be determined following an autopsy.
It needs to be noted that the local police have been informed and an investigation has been launched.
