Guwahati: A youth has allegedly committed suicide at his rented house in Rajgarh area of Guwahati city of Assam on Tuesday.
The youth identified as Jayanta Namasudra who is a resident of Nalbari district.
The incident took place in the Bhawani Press of the area.
According to reports, the body was found hanging in the ceiling fan at his rented house.
Before committing suicide, the youth recorded the circumstances which led to the incident in his mobile phone.
Jayanta was working in a beauty parlour in the ABC area.
Reports further claimed that Jayanta was served with his wife and daughter.
However, the police reached the spot after getting the information.
It may be mentioned that a detailed investigation has been initiated by the police in the matter and the body was sent for post mortem.
